Let's Talk Wellness ~ Premiere Episode - Talking with Mara James 

Welcome to the first episode of "Let's Talk Wellness!" We are so excited to bring these weekly podcasts to you! 

In this episode, we are talking with the Host of Let's Talk Wellness, Mara James - who is also the Founder and CEO of the Extraordinary Lives Foundation, also known as ELF, a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the way people view and treat children's mental health and wellness. 

Mara's own experiences with mental health challenges and triumphs became the fuel for her work with ELF. As a part of ELF's outreach, Mara also founded the HUGS for Life Healing Center, a division of ELF, to provide a safe place for clients to find alternative healing modalities and for clinicians to refer their patients. 

"Let's Talk Wellness" was inspired by the desire to share the HUGS center with the world! The mission of the HUGS center is to bridge the gap between medical professionals and approved holistic healers. ELF is excited to share the many amazing healers and practitioners that are part of the HUGS center as an invitation to change the ideas and conversations around mental health.
